Lavish festive season feasts at Banyan Tree Macau

Banyan Tree Macau is celebrating the festive season with lavish gastronomic menus at European fine dining restaurant Belon and signature Thai restaurant Saffron.

At Belon, a decadent and sumptuous five-course set menu on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day priced at MOP998* per person includes Smoked Beef Carpaccio, Baby Abalone and Black Pork, Green Pea Risotto with Lobster Medallion and Foie Gras, Chilean Sea Bass with Tiger Prawn and Diamond Clam, and Australian Flat Iron Steak with Sweet Bread. For dessert, Chocolate Soup is served with Gold Chestnut Gateaux and Crispy Passion Fruit.

On New Year’s Eve, an indulgent gastronomic seven-course set menu at MOP1,398* per person includes a glass of Champagne. It starts with Smoked Amuse Platter of Foie Gras Terrine, Tuna Ceviche and Oyster Profiterole. Seafood Platter with Boston Lobster, Fine De Claire Oyster and Red Spanish Prawn. Next up are Black Milk Pork in Tamarind and White Bean, Black Truffle Risotto and Foie Gras Beignet, Amadai Nutmeg Artichoke Tapenade, Wagyu Sirloin with Grilled Bone Marrow, and dessert of Fried Chocolate Ice Cream and Crispy Passion Fruit.

At Saffron, the Christmas set dinner served on 24th -25th December is priced at MOP888* for two inclusive of 2 glasses of white or red Thai wine; whereas the New Year dinner on 31st December and 1st January is priced at MOP998* for two, including 2 glasses of Champagne.

The Christmas menu starts with a Seafood Platter including Lobster, Mussel, Alaskan King Crab, Salmon and Oyster, followed by the Traditional Thai Thick Soup with Prawn, Scallop and Squid.

Main courses include; Traditional Roast Turkey Thai style, with Green Curry, along with Grilled Jumbo Tiger Prawn and Fried Soft Shell Crab. Assorted Thai desserts including Coconut Crème Brûlée and Mango Sticky Rice, complete the Christmas feast.

The New Year set menu starts with a Seafood Platter of Oyster, Lobster, Tuna Sashimi, Tiger Prawn and Snow Crab.

Main courses are; Grilled USDA Rib Eye, cooked with Mussaman Curry southern style, along with Stir Fried Alaskan King Crab with Yellow Curry and Steamed Tiger Prawn with Chilli Lime Sauce. A selection of Thai desserts includes; Pandan Tapioca Pudding and Coconut Crème Brûlée.
